Peralta and Street combined to hurl a perfect ninth for the Rockies, who were coming off a 5-4 road swing. Chris Iannetta and Troy Tulowitzki each had two hits and an RBI, and Ian Stewart added a solo homer for the victors. Max Scherzer (5-6) suffered the loss, allowing five runs -- three earned -- on six hits and a walk, adding five strikeouts in his six-inning start for Arizona, which had almost as many errors (three) as hits (four). The D-Backs have now lost eight of their last nine. Stewart's two-out homer made it 1-0 in the second inning, and the Rockies added a pair of runs in both the fifth and sixth frames to pull away. Iannetta singled to open the fifth and came around to score on a two-out double by Dexter Fowler, who hustled home on Gerardo Parra's throwing error. Parra had a chance to redeem himself with a bases-loaded opportunity in the sixth but grounded into a fielder's choice to end the threat. Tulowitzki doubled in Todd Helton in the bottom half and made it 5-0 by scoring on Iannetta's sacrifice fly later in the frame. A couple of players with some value are Clay Matthews (Packers) at 12/1 and Larry English (Chargers) at 15/1. Matthews is expected to start at outside linebacker in Green Bay's new 3-4 defense and could rack up a ton of tackles. English, who was an impressive player at Northern Illinois, is expected to be a situational pass rusher for the Chargers and could rack up a ton of sacks.
